Great graphics, calming, but can be repreitive

I was one of my firs iPhone game and I still like to come back to it. Beautiful graphics, great gameplay! Worth 5$ and Your time for sure! It is still one of the best games on iPhone!

Amazing graphics and a really fun game!!

I keep coming back to this game. It really is addictive - challenging, but not overly frustrating. The price kept me away for a while, but I finally splurged and Im glad I did. Great work!

This game is very cool. Awesome sound, gameplay, concept, and graphics. Im not that into puzzles, but this is my type of puzzle. Five bucks is not that bad; would be better at like 3. Regardless, this is a great addition to the large wall of games for the touch. Very very cool. This is how a puzzle should be; simple at first and complex later on, dont complain because of that...

This game is in a class of its own. Its very unique and challenging. Dont let the first few levels trick you because later levels are frustrating! Visually, its the most lifelike graphics Ive yet seen on AppStore. Give the lite version a try, and if youre up to challenge your brain, get the full version.

The graphics are great, ambience is spectacular, but the simple truth is that this app just gets boring. Fun for like half an hour but then youll regret spending $5 on it. Needs more features.

The graphics with the peculiar puzzling way this game puts you into makes it a classic. Must buy.

This is a beatiful puzzle game that has a good mix of simple and challenging puzzles. The nice thing is that theres no timer or penalties. You can even skip a puzzle if its giving you trouble. I also like the new replay feature. Wonderful game.

I love it. My six year old daughter loves it. ABSOLUTELY beautiful graphics and great UI. Intro is drop dead simple. Yet complex enough for adults to enjoy. Truly novel and unique game. I want more apps like this.

I bought it by accident. I didnt have enough money. What do I do? What happens? Still, I wanted this game anyway. So not much of a bad accident then.

I was on the fence about this game for a while, and when it went on sale I tried the Lite version to test it out. I purchased it almost immediately thereafter! It is easily worth the full asking price. Everything about it is so fluid, polished and absolutely charming, it should be a mandatory addition to any iDevice. Bravo!

The graphics are beautiful, but getting past level 15 is impossible. I am beginning to wonder if there is actually a level 16.

I cant believe how beautiful this game is. I love the nature sounds and how the frogs move their little toes as they adjust into position. I love how everything is rendered in 3-D so when a screen flips, it looks so cool! Its these little details that elevate this apps quality from standard to superior, and I commend the developers for going the extra mile! Is this game for you? If you want action, no. If you are easily frustrated by intellectual challenges, no. This game will not raise your adrenaline level, so dont look to it for thrills. However, if you are analytical and like to take your time untangling a knotted necklace, you will like this. If you need something to do while bored at your desk, you can leave this sitting open and idly flick it with your finger without it being obvious that you are playing a game. (Dont tell anyone I said that.) Just a note - the levels that are rated "Impossible" are not actually impossible, so dont be intimidated. It is very rewarding to finally conquer a tough level. If I was going to get picky, Id suggest adding a buzzing sound for the fly, and maybe changing the popping sound of the frogs footsteps. And perhaps flowerbuds would be nicer than those cabbage thingies that represent the levels. But I’m happy with Ancient Frog the way it is. To me, it was well worth the price.

Ancient Frog - I played the light version and was pretty impressed. I have never played anything like this before! This was a game I had to have, so getting the full version was a no brainer! I am 33 years old - I have had EVERY system. I have been playing video games since I was just out of diapers. I have so many ipod games, its rediculous! Ancient Frog is on a certain page in my ipod touch - a page that I reserve for my favorite games (I like to keep them together - Peggle, Triazzle, Baseball Sluggers, Snake Galaxy, Match 3d: To name a few) I am still not sure how someone came up with such a beautiful concept. The frogs look amazing (animations and modeling). Also, I love the fact that there are different backgrounds for different puzzles. I could go on, but the sure thing is to just play it, see what you think. Just do yourself a favor: Play the lite version for at least 10 minutes, see if it grows on you. Remember, the full version gives you 100 puzzles with tons of content! I am sure happy I found this beauty! Check out my other reviews!

I dont usually write app reviews, but for Ancient frog I absolutely had to. This is one of the app stores true hidden treasures. Just buy it!
